Sundance + Slumdance = Love

Believe us, we're every bit as shocked as you. The Sundance Channel called us, claiming they meant no harm, and asked to cover our screening and party at the Park City Silver Mine Adventure. It was strange. Producer Roger Ross Williams and reporter Laurie Pike seemed so sincerely down with the Slum. They really seemed to love us.

We sent the three cleanest Vagrants we could find to do the interview.

Laurie asked some of the usual questions ("What is your purpose?"), but she didn't seem to mind when the Vagrants merely responded with their usual cuteness. In fact, she encouraged it. We really, really liked her.

After the interview, Jebediah appeared in the mine and accosted Laurie. Certain, of course, that a Sundance Channel representative could aid him in his goal to kiss Robert Redford's ass, Jebediah soon planted one on Laurie's. (No picture of the kiss--you'll have to watch the Sundance Channel. Sorry.)

SLUMDANCE INTERVIEWS THE SUNDANCE CHANNEL

SLUMDANCE: What do you think of the Slumdance Experience?

LAURIE: It's everything the website built it up to be.

SLUMDANCE: What's wrong with us?

LAURIE: The Smiley face bothers me.

PRODUCER ROGER ROSS WILLIAMS: I like the Smiley face.

SLUMDANCE (to Roger): What do you think is wrong with us?

ROGER: You're three really cute, white heterosexual men, and as a black gay man that turns me on.
