Showdown with John Gibson!

I'll be on John Gibson's Fox News radio show tonight at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET, discussing the Blasphemy Challenge, the War on Christmas and The God Who Wasn't There.

John Gibson practically invented the War on Christmas, so this may be good. Although, frankly, if I'm doing well at all -- i.e., relating facts that John Gibson finds inconvenient and arguments he finds difficult to refute -- I expect Gibson to cut me off quickly and move on to another segment. He is hermetically sealed within Fox News Land after all.

Listen live here.

UPDATE: Audio here. John Gibson did something that in my experience only conservative radio hosts do. He had me on for ten minutes, then for the rest of the hour took calls on the subject of me, the Blasphemy Challenge and the topics in The God Who Wasn't There -- all without me there to defend myself. Clearly, Gibson was doing this to get away with mischaracterizing my positions on the issues, which he did ceaselessly. The most hilarious thing was that Gibson constantly expressed bewilderment about why Brian Flemming believes this crazy stuff -- when, obviously, he could have had me there on the line and asked me.

When I noticed Gibson doing this, I called the show's producer and let him know about my availability to participate in the ongoing conversation about me. He said, "John doesn't do that" and hung up. "That" is apparently dealing with anything but straw men constructed by Gibson.

John Gibson's intellectual dishonesty is not remotely surprising, of course. The only point of going on the show was to slip some rarely heard ideas into the parade of nonstop Fox News propaganda, and I think I managed to do that, so, Merry Christmas.

UPDATE 2: YouTube user maxhodges, for fun, does to John Gibson what John Gibson does to others for real: utter distortion.
