What do you think about Bigfoot?

Proposal: Right now there is a great ape species dwelling in the forests of North America. A likely descendent of gigantopithecus blacki, this ape migrated across the now-gone Siberia/Alaska land bridge and has lived in the forests of North America for more than ten thousand years. An upright-walking primate, the Bigfoot species is six to ten feet tall, omnivorous, nocturnal and mostly solitary. This highly intelligent species evolved to avoid homo sapiens as a general habit, so human knowledge of it is currently based on footprints, vocalizations and infrequent sightings.

What are your objections to this proposal? Email me and let me know, even if you haven't looked into it at all and you just have some thoughts off the top of your head. I'm interested in what makes people believe/not believe in Bigfoot.
