Howard Dean L.A. news

Howard is in da house. The House of Blues, that is.

That's what I would write if I were a hack publicist.

Still, if you're in L.A., Governor Dean is here today. And there's another interesting event Wednesday, and L.A. for Howard Dean sent me this:

First, a pre-message: You have ONE DAY LEFT to sign up for [tonight's] House of Blues fundraiser with Governor Dean and performances by The Folksmen, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, and The Bangles. Go to http://www.deanforamerica.com/houseofblues to sign up.

The notice continues:

"UNCOVERED" SCREENING Wednesday, Dec. 17 7:30 PM Hammer Museum (10899 Wilshire Blvd, 90024)

Join your fellow Dean supporters at a free screening of Robert Greenwald's documentary, "Uncovered: The Whole Truth about the Iraq War." This event, cosponsored by local representatives from three democratic political campaigns (Dean, Clark and Kucinich), is a wonderful opportunity for Democrats to unite under a common cause - getting George W. Bush out of office.

After the screening there will be a Q&A session with the director and representatives from each of the three campaigns.

This is a FREE event, but seating is limited and you *must* RSVP. Please email becca-AT-lafordean.org if you would like to be added to the list or if you have any questions.

** We encourage you to wear a Dean t-shirt or button to this event! **
