Photo story, Howard Dean in L.A.

Took the Red Line to Union Station, where the Howard Dean fundraiser was in full swing.

Howard Dean, Rob Reiner and Martin Sheen were there. I'll write more about it after I sleep, but for now, here are the pictures.

Oh, but check out Joe Trippi's blog entry:

Thank you is all I can say -- you have broken the record set by President Bill Clinton for the most money raised in a quarter. President Clinton set the record of $10.3 million in 1995. Not when he was the Governor of Arkansas but as the sitting President of the United States of America.

What is amazing is not that you broke that record, and not that you broke it by millions of dollars, but that it was done by tens of thousands of Americans contributing more than 188,000 times -- contributing what you could afford to make a difference for our country, and to make real change in our nation's politics.

Our original goal for this quarter was $7.6 million -- to match what you accomplished last quarter. When we saw that we would surpass that goal we raised the bar to matching the record set by President Clinton. 10 days ago we had raised $9.7 million and we set the goal of raising $5 million dollars in just 10 days. You did that. Tonight we sit at $14.8 million -- $5.1 million over 10 days.

How much sweeter is it that so many people said it couldn't be done?
